2. Safety Warning and Professional Installation

WARNING: Garage door springs (torsion and extension) and related hardware are under extreme tension. * Professional Installation Recommended: Dura-Lift strongly recommends that all springs, cables, and drums be installed by a trained garage door technician.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dura-Lift Hardware (a division of Norstar International LLC) shall not be liable for:

  • Consequential Damages: Any indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of time, or damage to personal property (e.g., vehicles, garage structures).
  • Maximum Liability: In no event shall Dura-Lift’s total liability exceed the actual purchase price paid for the specific defective component.

  • Jurisdiction: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State where Norstar International LLC is headquartered.
  • Arbitration: Any disputes arising from the purchase or use of Products shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for small claims court matters.
